We have been kindly advised to move to a private domain in order to have a better control of the “blog brand” and to make any later moves easier. Hmmm, sounds like a good idea to stay at wordpress but at the same time own the blog Url.
-Anyone having a good suggestions of what URL this blog should choose?
Most probably is better to move while the blog is pretty young, and since we no longer are one of the top 100 science blogs in Technorati (thanks to a long relaxing summer vacation from the blog) we can as well change url now and build up the authority in the own brand instead, or is it a bad idea?
Pssst. I The technorati tags are not updating any more, most probably because some stoopid change i have done to the blog, but i relly cant find it atm, and i am also to shy to ask some of the al the skilled persons out there, maybe it is better to just forget it and just move on…

Choose any combo containing letterz adhd add gdhf bdnf under the .com tld since your main language is English. I’m on an iPhone at the moment and can’t check for availability, but I guess that most combos whith a hiohen shoild be available.
Keep it as short as poossible while containing the abbreviation attracting most searches. Check number of searches at google.com/trends
